Meditation

Time Estimate:

Start with 3-5 minutes a day, then gradually increase your time to 10-15 minutes.

What You Need:

  • A quiet place, with no distractions (turn off your phone)

  • A peaceful frame of mind

Here's How:

Let your mind go completely blank. If you're having trouble with this, then you can try the following exercise, which might help.

Picture a chalkboard with all of your current thoughts written on it. Next, visualize picking up an eraser and clearing the board with it. Let any new thoughts be written on the cleared board, then erase them. Do this until there are no more thoughts being written on the board.

Concentrate on taking at least 3-5 deep full breaths. Make sure to inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.

Intuition Workout

Time Estimate:

Start with 3-5 minutes a day, then gradually increase your time to 10-15 minutes.

What You Need:

  • Anything red, yellow, and blue (a few pieces of colored construction paper work well)

  • A quiet place, with no distractions (turn off your phone)

  • A peaceful frame of mind

Here's How:

Close your eyes and select a colored item. Keeping your eyes closed, focus on feeling the color of the object. Try letting your mind go blank and see what comes to mind. This should give you a hint as to the color at hand. For example; seeing fire or feeling warm would both indicate that the object you are holding is red.

After you have a pretty good idea of what color you think the object is, open your eyes and see if your intuition was right!
